The dress body is a clean, fitted shift in deep jewel-toned teal-green 100% viscose — a round scoop neckline, a straight silhouette through the torso, and a knee-length hem. That body is the foundation. The overlay is what makes this dress. A sheer chiffon panel printed with a large-scale shadowy floral — deep navy-to-black painterly flower silhouettes, likely peonies, rendered in a photographic, tone-on-tone print against the teal-green sheer ground — is attached at the neckline and draped asymmetrically from the left shoulder across the body, then left entirely free to fall in a dramatic trailing cascade on the right side that extends well below the dress hem. The left shoulder has a split or cold-shoulder opening where the overlay separates from the sleeve, creating the arm opening and giving the silhouette its modern, architectural edge.
