No two motifs the same — the ASTR Rose Embroidered Diamond Knit Sweater is a relaxed oversized crewneck pullover in warm ivory on a diamond pointelle knit ground, with individual hand-embroidered botanical and countryside motifs scattered across the entire sweater — front, back, and sleeves — each one placed within a diamond cell of the lattice and each one distinct. The close-up tells the whole story: yellow wildflowers, red carnations, strawberries with green leaves, lavender sprigs, sunflowers, a small red farmhouse, green rosemary and herb branches, yellow daisies, and on the sleeve — a tiny embroidered picture frame with a flower inside it. Every motif is rendered in fine multicolor thread — red, yellow, green, lavender — against the ivory pointelle ground, and because each is different, the sweater reads differently from every angle and rewards a close look.
